Note: This is a kit, not finish item.
Suitable for more experienced stitches
The kit includes 22 count canvas, a color block chart, detailed instructions, Anchor stranded cotton, a wooden hanging pole, backing fabric, ribbon to make the hanging tabs, and a suitable needle. Enough extra thread is included for you to make a decorative hanging cord, if you wish.
Style: Medieval
Edward, Prince of Wales (1330-1376) was popularly known as the Black Prince, apparently because of his reputation for riding into battle in jet black armor. However, as can be seen from this image, taken from a contemporary source, the rumour was inaccurate! He was a colorful chap, obviously, which makes this wall-hanging very interesting to stitch in needlepoint. This would look great in a Baronial hall, library, paneled dollhouse room … anywhere that you would want to create an impression of grandeur!
When completed, the stitched area of the wall-hanging is 6¼ x 5¾ inches (16 x 15 cm)
